Welcome To Blackpool – 09/11/2017 – 12:30

Good afternoon and welcome to Blackpool for the final leg of the GUKPT Tour, the only event remaining after this is the Grand Final.

This leg is always well attended and this year it has been no different. The side events have been buzzing and the cash games have been running around the clock.

Last year the main event attracted 251 entries and ended in a three way chop between Tom Middleton, Richard Kellett and Tom Hall. Middy took home the most money and was crowned the 10th Blackpool Main Event Champion.

The tournament is a £1,000 buy in with a £200,000 guarantee! For their buy in the players receive 20,000 chips n a 60 minute clock. 9 Levels will be played today and tomorrow, with the day one fields combining on Saturday or Day 2. Then whoever is remaining will be back on Sunday to play down to a winner.

The team will be here with you for the four levels of play, bringing you live blog updates, pictures, chip counts, exits and of course the GUKPT Live Stream that runs on a thirty minute delay.

Play begins at 1pm today.
