Welcome To Day 2 – 01/04/2017 – 12:30

Good afternoon and welcome back to the Maybury in Edinburgh for Day 2 of the GUKPT Main Event.

A great turnout here in Scotland for leg number 3 with 227 entries in total over the two starting days. Of those entries we have 85 players making their way back today, to do battle and play another nine levels. Although play of the tournament will stop early if we manage to get down to a final table or nine.

Before players think of making the final table, they have to make the money. 23 places will be paid with a min cash of £1,020. The big money is at the top and our fourth GUKPT Edinburgh main event champion will take home £32,450 sometime tomorrow.

Mark Frith leads the list of 85 players remains which is jam packed with locals. There’s also a lot of GUKPT regulars still in, Jeff Kimber, Katie Swift, Mark James & Chris Gordon all bagged up chips last night.

We’ll be here for the duration of play bringing you updates, chip counts, exits and hands. The live stream will also run on thirty minute delay with all hole cards shown and commentary from The Tower.

Play begins at 1pm in the room with the live stream starting at 1:30pm. It should be a great days play.
