After ten levels of play Day 1a of GUKPT London is now in the books. It’s been another great days poker with 131 entries in total. The day has now finished with just 37 players who have bagged up chips for Day 2. Stuart McNally has finished the day with the biggest stack, a mountain of chips! His 260,000 leads the way and will be hard for anyone to beat tomorrow.

Stuart McNally has just took the biggest pot of the tournament so far. A pot worth around 200,000 and makes him the chip leader with around 250,000!!

On an Ace high board with a Jack on, Bernard Litman gets it all in and is called by McNally who holds a set of Jacks. Bernard tables Ace-King which is no good as he heads out of the tournament.

With 75 minutes left to play today Stuart McNally holds a strong chip lead.

Good Afternoon and welcome too Leg 5 of the 2018 GUKPT Main Event.

The tournament this week is a £500+£60 Buy in with a £100,000 guarantee!! For their buy in, the players will receive 20,000 chips on a 60 minute clock. Late registration is open for six levels today, so up until 8:30pm and the players are allowed unlimited re-entries.

Last year this event attracted 449 entries and a massive prizepool of £224,500!! Hopefully this week we will get close to that HUGE number.

Play begins today at 1pm.
