Goodbye From Luton – 15/10/2018 – 01:10

Well that’s it! GUKPT Luton is now in the history books, it’s been another great tournament with 304 entries over the first two days of play. A great mix of professional players and satellite qualifiers turned out to play this leg which is always a busy one.

After the four days of play we have a new GUKPT Champion in Neil McFayden who takes home the title, trophy and over £58,000, Yiannis Liperis finishes just short again, finishing runner up for a second time.

The cardroom has had a real festival feel to it this week, the room has been constantly busy with side events and cash games.

Thanks to everyone who interacted with us or watched the stream over the last four days. You make the event what it is, even if you aren’t here in the room.

We will be back in three weeks time for the party leg of the tour. GUKPT Blackpool! There’s also huge turnouts at the seaside town, so make sure you see us there!
