After ten levels of play here at the Bury New Road Casino in Manchester the chips are now all bagged up and the players are off to the bar.

A good turnout for 1a with 70 players in total, over the six levels of late registration. That means tomorrow 130 players are needed to hit the £200,000 guarantee, or there could well be some added money here in Manchester.

Welcome To Manchester – 01/03/2018 – 12:30

Good afternoon and welcome to GUKPT Manchester. The second level of the 2018 tour. The media team are here to cover the £200,000 guaranteed main event.

The Bury New Road Casino hosts the £1000 entry main event which begins today at 1pm, for their buy in, the players receive 20,000 chips on a one hour clock. Late registration is open for the first six levels of play, until 8:15pm.

Last year this event collected £268,000, with Passport Winner Andy Hills walking away with the trophy and £46,000.

We’ll be here for the four days of play, bringing you blog updates, pictures, chip counts, exits and a live stream with all hole cards shown on a thirty minute delay.
