The second and final day one of GUKPT Manchester is now in the books after the players have completed another nine levels, like we expected it’s been a very busy day today with 181 entries in total for Day 1b. Creating a prizepool of £268,000!! The biggest prizepool we have had in years here in Manchester.

Again their has been no runaway chip leader today, Paul Harman is the man who has finished slightly ahead of Jamie O’Connor. Paul will take the overall chip lead into day two tomorrow as he leads the 81 players who have made it through Day 1b. Full chip counts are:

Welcome To Day 1b – 03/03/2017 – 12:30

Good afternoon and welcome back to Bury New Road for the second day one of the Manchester leg. Today we will be playing another nine levels, mirroring what we played yesterday on Day 1a.

 

Yesterday there were 87 entries in total, over the six levels off late registration, today we will expect to nearly double that as we try and his the quarter of a million mark.

The tournament is a £1000 entry with a £200,000 guarantee. For their buy in the players will receive 20,000 chips on a one hour clock.

Play will begin today at 1pm and we will be here for the duration of play. We’ll be bringing you live updates, chip counts, exits and our live stream which will run on a thirty minute delay with all hole cards shown.

We’re looking forward to what should be a great days poker.
