GUKPT Manchester Final Day Blog

Lulat Takes It Down – 04/03/2018 – 20:45

Wow! Well what an event that was! The Manchester leg looked like it could struggle for numbers, but the UK poker players turned out in force to support the UKs longest running tour. 241 was the total number of entries, which is an amazing turnout considering the weather conditions.

Today there were 14 player coming back with Adam Lulat holding the chip lead. He kept it all day, until Gary  Whitehead battled back when playing heads up. Adam then changed strategy which resulted in him dominating the latter stages and eventually taking home the title and trophy.

Thank you to everyone who turned out this week to support the tour, the cardroom has been buzzing all week and the side event numbers have been good. We already can’t wait for next years Main Event.

That’s all from us on the GUKPT Tour for 7 weeks. The next time you here from us we’ll be North of the border in Edinburgh for the first £500 event of the year.

Until next time, be lucky.
