Howard Takes It Down – 30/04/2017 – 18:40

After just over 6 hours of play the 2017 GUKPT Walsall Main Event is now in the history books.

It’s been a good turnout on another leg of the UKs Premier Poker Tour, 238 entries in total over the two starting days creating a prizepool of £119,000.

Walsall has been a great host to what has been a perfectly run tournament over the last four days. Today we came back with 16 players and thanks to Alli Mallu we have an early finish. He plays like no other and now has another second place on his resume.

The trophy goes to Gaz Howard and it couldn’t of went to a nicer guy. He is over the moon at taking down his home leg of the GUKPT.

That’s it from us for another event. We will be back in three weeks time when the tour travels to Reading for Leg 5 of the Tour.

Join us then as we cover what should be another fantastic leg.

Until next time, be lucky.
