After ten levels of play Day 1a of GUKPT Reading 2018 is in the history books. It’s been a great day of poker played in great spirits by the 90 entries that took part.

Good afternoon and welcome to Day 1a of GUKPT Reading.

We’re here for you this week covering the £100,000 Guaranteed, £500+£60 buy in tournament.

For their buy in the players will receive a 20,000 starting stack on a one hour clock and the best structure around.

Day 1a is today with late registration open until 8:15pm.

We’ll be providing you with coverage of todays play, bringing you live blog updates, pictures, chip counts and of course the live stream which runs on a thirty minute delay with all hole cards shown.

Last year Ali Mallu was victorious beating a 247 runner field to take home the first place prize of £35,000!! Hopefully we will see him here this week to defend his title.
