After ten levels of play Day 1b at GUKPT Reading is in the history books, it’s been another great day with a huge turnout.
In total there was 155 entries, meaning a field of 245 in total, creating a £122,500 prizepol for the players to play for tomorrow.
Play has now finished on all tables, 56 players have made it through and they are led by Ethan Brown who holds a slight chip lead over Keiron Duncan who has finished in second place. Full chip counts are:

Good afternoon and welcome back to Reading for Day 1b of the GUKPT Reading Main Event.
Yesterday for Day 1a we had a total of 90 entries which was slightly down on the 93 from last year. Today though we are looking to smash through the guarantee and beyond, hopefully getting close to the 247 entries that bought in for this tournament last year.
The main event is a £500+£60 Buy in with a £100,000 GTD!! For your buy in the players will receive 20,000 chips on a one hour clock with the best structure around!
Play has just started in the room, with late registration open for the first 6 levels of play today, up until 8:30pm.
It should be another great days poker in Reading.
